I remember watching my first Indiana Jones movie. What an experience for the un-initiated. Watching the characters against the World War 1 Backdrops, engaging one another in exotic places and then chasing exotic things, brings a sense that not everything is “business as usual” and “boring”. There is a side to life that is exciting.
It takes courage to fulfil one’s dreams and be willing to travel through many dangers and trials to reach the destination.
Like “Indie” teaches us in his movies, the good guys always wins. And of course, the bad guys lose. Right now in any one’s country, there are exotic places to visit and things to experience. Rather than doing the same things over and over again in boring routine, sometimes it is good therapy to just do something adventurous (Once in while) and book a trip to an island or hike on a camping trip or go and build a house as a volunteer.
Whatever we decide, we really should take some action and plan and finally go to that exotic place and find some exotic things to discover. Fiji is a good place to try. It has over 300 islands and many places to visit, many of the – exotic. There are numerous hotels and good quality restaurants. The people are friendly and look after the best interests of their visitors.
Another good place is New Zealand. Take the train ride around the North Island and discover the deep valleys and mountains. Farmland that stretches out for miles and beautiful scenery.
There are so many places to see and experience. Most of them have some flavor of the exotic. If you cannot afford to travel, then start in your own country. There is a possibility that there are some things about your country that you do not know.
